Kubaron:

The Kubarons are a hardheaded and passionate canine race from Luxgard exclusively. They are very proud and operate in packs. They were present on the main western continent before the Lamora, even before the Lamora migrated from Old Luxgard, subcontinent adjacent to Luxgard, and are therefore very territorial considering the invasion. While the Lamora have made their homes in the northwest region in a city they call Matilda that sits atop a large plateau, the Kubarons consider the land rightfully theirs even though they claim the lands along the eastern side of the continent.
Their main encampment lies in The Fruitless Waste, an area close to the eastern shore, as their area of residence has since shrunk due to the colonization of the Lamora. They currently border Aten, a Lamora town caught in the middle of the war.

There are three types of Kubaron. The common Kubaron known as the Cynofants, the Volfhunds, and the Unterhunds. The common Cynofants are dog-like in appearance and make up most of the Kubaron population in Luxgard.
Volfhunds are less common, and come from the forests and mountains. They are more wolf-like, slightly larger in stature, and physically stronger. However, although they are stronger physically they are more susceptible to Siels.
Lastly, the Unterhunds, which are cursed variants of the Volfhunds. They migrated too far north and started crossing the sea to Ixgard. After doing so, Yldirian mages cast a curse on them, giving them an almost undead appearance and glowing red eyes. In return, they became even more powerful than Volfhunds, but even more susceptible to Siels.

While similar in name, there are no correlations between the names of the subraces and the city in Highgard known as "Gallowhund", other than scholars there giving them their names.

It is very rare for a Kubaron to be on his own. Considered derogatorily as "pack animals" they are not known to be on any other continent since they gravitate towards their homeland.

Kubarons are known for their ferocity, and thus are able to call upon a frenzied state by performing what they call "Call to Eder". By doing so, they howl to the moon and are granted supernatural strength.

Symbolically, the Kubarons represent the moon, and the Lamora who represent the sun, are their adversary.
